If you drive, the fuel bill is one of those costs that keeps coming back every month. Standard Chartered is running a campaign with Caltex that stacks a few smaller perks when you pay through the CaltexGO app with an eligible card, so it may be worth a look before your next top-up.
What you get
Standard Chartered says the campaign runs from 1 January to 31 December 2026 and applies to the Simply Cash, Beyond and Visa Infinite credit cards. When you pay for fuel in the CaltexGO app, the perks listed on the bank's page include:
- S$10 instant discount on your first in-app fuel payment, with a minimum spend of S$20.
- 17% upfront petrol discount, with no minimum spend stated.
- S$3 Standard Chartered rebate when your gross fuel spend is at least S$100.
- 1.5% cashback on the Simply Cash card only.
For indoor purchases at Caltex, the page lists six S$5 Caltex Fuel eVouchers with a minimum S$70 spend, on top of the 17% upfront discount and S$3 rebate. New and existing cardholders who sign up for a new credit card may also get S$30 in Caltex Fuel eVouchers, though the bank's wording on who qualifies is not very clear, so check the sign-up terms first.
The bank also shows illustrated total savings of up to 27.91% (Simply Cash, CaltexGO) and up to 24.19% (indoor payment). These are examples based on specific purchase amounts, not guaranteed savings for every transaction.
How to enjoy it
- Open the CaltexGO app and tap "My Account".
- Add a payment method.
- Add your eligible Standard Chartered card.
- The discount you see depends on the card you use.
Things to note
The bank's page does not list spending caps or exclusions, but it links to separate terms for the sign-up promotion, the CaltexGO promotion and the indoor promotion. Read those before you rely on the savings. Different pages from the bank show slightly different headline figures (the page description says up to 21.3%, while the body shows 27.91%), so go by the terms inside the app and the bank's T&Cs.
