Thinking of swapping your old television before the year-end sales rush? Samsung Singapore's TV Upgrade Offer gives you an instant discount of up to $1,000 on a new Samsung TV when you trade in your old set, and the old TV is collected when the new one is delivered.
How it works
- Choose your new TV on samsung.com/sg and select the upgrade option before adding it to your cart.
- Select the brand and size of your old TV. The instant discount is applied to the new TV at checkout.
- Have your old TV ready for collection (no packaging needed). Samsung picks it up when it delivers the new TV. Delivery is free.
Which old TVs qualify?
Samsung accepts old TVs in 43", 50", 55", 65", 75", 85" and 98"-and-above sizes from brands including Samsung, Hisense, LG, Panasonic, Philips, Prism+, Sharp, Sony, TCL and Xiaomi. Samsung may amend the list of participating models, and the page does not state discount amounts per model, so the final figure is shown at checkout.
Things to note
- The offer runs until 31 December 2026 or while stocks last. Terms and conditions apply.
- The new purchase must be in the same category as the item you trade in. A TV trade-in cannot be used on a monitor, for example.
- Reset your old TV to factory settings where applicable. Samsung may refuse to deliver the new TV if the old one is not ready for collection.
- The old TV is non-returnable and has no value. If you return the new TV for a refund, you will not get any amount for the old TV.
Trade-in via retailers instead?
Samsung also runs a separate TV trade-in cashback scheme through participating retailers (such as Courts, Harvey Norman and Best). That one pays up to $400 cashback depending on TV size and condition, and the trade-in must be done by 31 January 2027. It is not valid with other discounts, so compare the two before you buy.
