If you or your parents want a simple, low-cost mobile plan, SIMBA Telecom is listing a Seniors Plan at $5 per 30 days. Here is what the SIMBA website shows.
What you get
- 500GB of data for $5 per 30 days, according to the plan banner
- Free rollover of unused data and talk time, and free voice roaming (as shown in the banner text)
- $3 Mobile Security included in the plan
- Two plan options: the Seniors Go Digital Plan, or the Mobile Access for Seniors Plan, which needs an IMDA voucher
How to sign up
Head to the SIMBA Seniors sign-up page, pick a plan, and add a value-added service or a smartphone if you want one. You will need to acknowledge the emergency-call condition, then click Next. SIM cards are collected at SIMBA store locations listed on the page.
If you are on the Mobile Access plan, bring the original IMDA voucher when you collect the SIM. Without it, the plan will be converted to the Seniors Go Digital Plan.
Optional smartphone bundles
The page lists three phones you can add: VIVO Y05e at $160 nett, Samsung Galaxy A08 at $248 nett, and HONOR X6e at $249 nett with free HONOR earbuds worth $59.
