The year-end rush is coming, and there's one thing worth putting on your to-do list: your vouchers. As of 5 November 2026, there are about eight weeks left before two sets of government vouchers expire on 31 December 2026. After that date, whatever is unspent can't be used, and it can't be donated either.
Don't worry, there's no need to panic. Here's a simple guide to what you have, what expires when, and how to make the most of it.
Which vouchers expire, and which don't
- CDC Vouchers 2026 (January): $300 per household. This could be claimed from 2 January 2026 and is valid until 31 December 2026.
- SG60 Vouchers: given to each Singapore citizen aged 21 and above in 2025. Those born between 1966 and 2004 received $600, and those born in 1965 or earlier received $800. Valid until 31 December 2026.
- CDC Vouchers 2026 (June): $500 per household. This tranche was brought forward from its original January 2027 timing, could be claimed from 11 June 2026, and stays valid until 31 December 2027. So the June money is not under the same time pressure.
In other words, the "use it soon" vouchers are the January CDC Vouchers and the SG60 Vouchers. Each tranche is tracked separately, so check each one on its own.
Who gets them?
CDC Vouchers are for Singaporean households, and only one household member needs to claim on behalf of everyone. SG60 Vouchers are for Singapore citizens individually. The official pages describe these as benefits for Singaporeans, so permanent residents, other residents and visitors should not expect to receive them.
How to check your balance
If you've already claimed, you don't need to do it again. Just open the voucher link that was sent to you by SMS from "gov.sg". Your balance is shown on the respective tabs.
If you've lost the SMS, go to go.gov.sg/cdcv (for CDC Vouchers) or go.gov.sg/sg60v (for SG60 Vouchers), choose the right voucher, and log in with Singpass. Your existing voucher link will be sent to you again by SMS.
Haven't claimed the January CDC Vouchers yet? You can still do so at go.gov.sg/cdcv. If you can't claim because someone from another household at the same address has already claimed, the official FAQ says to visit your nearest Community Centre/Club (CC) before 15 December 2026 with your NRIC and proof of your household.
The rules to know before you spend
Making the most of what's left
The easiest way is to fold the vouchers into spending you're doing anyway. Think weekly groceries, wet market runs, kopitiam meals, neighbourhood bakeries, provision shops and hair salons, as long as the shop shows the decal. It's a good excuse to makan at your neighbourhood hawker centre too.
Two small tips. First, because the January CDC Vouchers and SG60 Vouchers expire first, many households find it easier to use these up before dipping into the June tranche. Second, compare prices as you normally would. Voucher money is still your money, so there's no need to overspend just to use it up.
Can't use it all? You can donate it
If you've got some left and don't think you'll use it in time, you can donate unspent CDC Vouchers 2026 (January) or SG60 Vouchers to a participating Institution of a Public Character (IPC) of your choice. The donation window runs from 1 October 2026 until 31 December 2026, 11.59pm.
Donations are made at go.gov.sg/kampungspirit-cdcv with Singpass. A few things to note: only the person who claimed the vouchers can donate them, donations are final and can't be reversed, and any tax deduction depends on the IPC. You can also spend some and donate the rest.
Need help claiming or using your vouchers?
You don't need to figure it out alone. If you don't have a smartphone or Singpass, ask a family member to help. You can also bring your NRIC to the nearest Community Centre/Club (CC), where staff can help you claim and print your vouchers. CCs are closed on public holidays, so plan your visit accordingly.
You can also authorise a non-household member to claim the household's CDC Vouchers on your behalf, using the official authorisation form. For other questions, the People's Association hotline is 6225 5322.
Stay safe from voucher scams
Scam messages about government payouts do the rounds regularly, so it's worth keeping a few checks in mind:
The bottom line
Check your balances now, plan a few easy spending runs over the next eight weeks, and donate any leftovers if you'd rather not let them lapse. A few minutes of checking today could save you from losing money that's already yours.
Note: Voucher rules and dates are set by the Government and the Community Development Councils and may change. Always confirm the latest details on the official pages. This article was checked on 5 November 2026 (Singapore time).
