Groceries add up, so a small percentage off your weekly shop can go a long way. Giant Singapore has in-store discounts for seniors and for CHAS cardholders, and its promotions page says they run until 31 December 2026.

What you get

Senior citizens: 4% off every Tuesday. Giant's page says this is for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 60 and above.
CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders: 6% off at Giant stores, under the "Double Your CHAS Savings" promotion, on selected days.

How to claim

Show your relevant card or ID at the payment counter. Giant says verification may be required. The discounts are for in-store purchases at Giant Singapore outlets.

Things to note

  • Giant's page does not list which days the CHAS discount applies, and it shows two different date listings for it (one says 1 to 30 October 2026, the other gives no dates). Please check with the store before you shop.
  • No minimum spend is stated on the page.
  • Exclusions include tobacco and cigarettes, alcohol, newspapers and magazines, infant milk powder, consumer electronics, Cold Storage Singapore (1983) gift vouchers, lottery and purchases from concessionaires.
  • Giant's terms are worded differently in two places about online purchases, so treat this as an in-store offer unless Giant confirms otherwise.
