Two kids were spotted picking up littered plastics and other items along Lorong 29 Geylang with their Mum. All of them are carrying plastic bags and tongs. They use the tongs to pick up the thrown plastics and put them inside the plastic bags.

A TikTok user, @mdroslin, saw them and recorded a short video, and uploaded it online.

In @mdroslin's video, the children each held a plastic bag and tongs, pick something on the path walk, and directly put it inside the plastic. On the other hand, their mother was picking up more rubbish and litter.

As Roslin saw them, he was amazed at their mother's capability and encouragement in bringing her kids to her community service initiative. She also guided them on how and what to do in a community cleaning. The short video that Roslin uploaded went viral in Tiktok and has accumulated 135,500 total views. It also circulated on Facebook and was shared on other social media platforms.

As Singapore is now in a transition phase, children can dine in restaurants, coffee shops, food & beverages, and other establishments. It will give them time to cope with their mental and socialisation stages. But seeing this family is a different version of transition in Singapore.

People praised the mother for bringing her children with her. A commentator said they are a fantastic family, while the other stated that they did incredible community service. This family created a unique bonding aside from getting out or spending in other active activities. Some individuals are encouraged after watching the video and plan to do the same action with their families and friends.

Well, spending time or family bonding isn't just about eating out or going on a long trip. Activities such as these motivate the kids to take care of our environment and guide them to the steps to help.

Their mother ensured that her children are safe. They were all wearing facemasks and using tongs to get the trash.
