Recently, a cat went viral after climbing up into the playground slides and sliding down, all by itself. Perhaps, the cat was learning to have fun with the slides or has seen children doing it. Well, this long-tailed Macaques are trying to beat the feline a off the chart!

John Seaton Callahan shared the short video of this group of Macaques that enjoyed this landslide cover at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. He saw the monkeys when he was walking by towards the Dairy Farm Quarry. According to him, there are always sightings of Macaque in these areas. Later, John decided to share the video in a Facebook Group named Singapore Wildlife Sightings.

Some people have teased the Macaques and said, "Enjoy it, kids. Don't forget to check the time later. Mommy will cane you if you never go back home on time."

In the recorded video, some of the monkeys were sliding from the top and rolling down. On the other hand, a smaller Macaque was pulling off the young vine as if his life depended on it. After a few seconds, bigger macaques also joined the small one and pulled the vine. Maybe, to check out if the vine can handle the weight and left after it swings.

One commenter said, "You should join the fun....looks shiok". Shiok is a Singaporean English that means very enjoyable or pleasing. Well, he's right, these monkeys enjoy their time, and that cover helps them achieve the sliding effects! [/

Another one also cheered them and said, "Sooo fun for them .. life is good", which was visible in the video.

Do you have a video of animals that you have seen lately? You can join the Wildlife Sightings in Singapore and upload images or videos there. This group is one of the various animal groups in Singapore. It will be easier to trace the rare and popular animals on the island, especially those who need help. It also allows us to identify the behavior of every species, which is helpful to zoological studies.
